So after two hurricanes, we finally got down to celebrating Free Day of Yoga. I decided to make that the same time as my birthday, so no fees, just bring a snack, if you feel like it!
A gentle beginning yoga class was done. We used the yoga balls, blocks, straps and blankets. Deep tissue release of the low spine with the yoga balls. We did Warrior II legs with Eagle Arms. Also a variation of Chair Pose with Cow Faced Arms. Twisted Chair Flow, A Sun Salute. A couple of Warrior I & II's. Plus a favorite, Tree posture. A nice long relaxation ending with Decaf Chai Tea and cookies. A very nice practice.
